Join the Next Identity Management Session -- 27 September

Identity Management Collaborative Session

Wednesday – September 27

8 - 9:30 am EST | 12 - 1:30 pm UTC | 1 - 2:30 pm WAT | 2 - 3:30 pm SAST | 3 - 4:30 pm EAT

During this 90 minute session, the community will continue the conversation on the Patient Identity Management Toolkit module focused on Implementing Person-Matching: Key Steps and Considerations. This draft outlines key steps for designing and implementing an effective approach for matching person-level records within and across health-related datasets. You can see the first draft that was shared by Dr. Toan Ong and Dr. Shaun Grannis during the August meeting - link to meeting recording and notes.

There will be no presentations during this session. Come prepared to provide input based on your experience to validate, enrich, & improve the usefulness of the approach. With your input, this approach will be refined over time & will serve as a shared knowledge base for patient matching activities. If you are unable to join the live meeting, we invite you to share your comments below.

The Patient Identity Management Toolkit is currently housed in the Data Use Community Gitbook. This Toolkit is intended to be a space for all who are working in identity management to bring together resources, share work in progress, and collectively develop key takeaways and considerations for those planning for or currently implementing an identity management strategy. This is a massive, ongoing group effort. We invite all individuals, groups and Communities who are working in this area to share additional resources, documents, or upcoming webinars in this Toolkit space. To contribute, please share on the DUC virtual forum or email the Secretariat, info@datausecommunity.org
